Virtual Tour – Wayne Christian School

Experience WCS From Anywhere

We’d love to show you around! While nothing replaces the experience of visiting our campus in person, hearing the laughter in our hallways, meeting our teachers, and feeling the warmth of our community, we understand that this is not always possible right away. Whether you’re exploring Christian education options from across town or across the country, this virtual tour provides a glimpse into daily life at Wayne Christian School.

Welcome to Our Campus

Located on Patetown Road in Goldsboro, NC, our campus serves students from preschool through 12th grade. As you explore, you’ll see more than just classrooms and facilities; you’ll discover a Christ-centered community where students are known, loved, and equipped to make a difference in their world.

What You'll Discover on Your Virtual Tour

Our Preschool and Elementary Classrooms

Step into bright, engaging learning spaces where our youngest students build strong academic foundations while discovering the wonders of God’s world. You’ll see:

  • Classrooms designed for hands-on learning
  • Small class sizes (typically 20-23 students) where every child is known by name
  • Interactive technology, including Mimeo smart boards and Boxlight displays
  • Dedicated spaces for art, music, library, and P.E.

From kindergarten through 4th grade, students develop critical skills in reading, writing, math, science, and Bible, all taught through a Biblical worldview that helps them understand their place in God’s story.

Middle School Spaces

Our middle school environment strikes a balance between the autonomy students crave and the support they need during these pivotal years. Tour spaces explicitly designed for 5th-8th graders:

  • Subject-specific classrooms where students transition between periods
  • STEM labs for robotics, coding, and 3D printing
  • Spaces for electives, including theater, art, and photography
  • Athletic facilities where students compete in 10+ sports

At WCS, middle schoolers aren’t just preparing for high school; they’re exploring their faith, discovering their talents, and forming lasting friendships.

High School Building

Our recently completed high school building reflects our commitment to academic excellence. As you explore, you’ll see:

  • Modern classrooms are equipped for college preparatory, honors, and advanced honors coursework
  • Science labs for biology, chemistry, and anatomy
  • 1:1 Chromebook technology that prepares students for college and career
  • Dedicated spaces for dual enrollment courses through Judson College and Wayne Community College
  • The Guidance Office, where our college and career advisor helps students plan their futures

Fine Arts and Athletic Facilities

God has given each student unique gifts and talents. Our facilities provide space for students to develop those gifts for His glory:

  • Music and choir rooms where students lead worship and perform
  • Art studios for painting, sculpture, mixed media, and portfolio development
  • Theater spaces for productions and tech work
  • Athletic fields and facilities supporting 11 sports, from football and soccer to swimming and golf
  • Weight training and fitness areas

Community Spaces

Some of the most critical growth happens between classes, during lunch, and at special events:

  • Our cafeteria, where students and teachers share meals
  • Chapel space for weekly worship services led by students and staff
  • Library and media center for research and reading
  • Common areas where friendships form and community thrives

SOAR Support Center

At our SOAR Support Center, we provide individualized instruction in small group settings to support students who learn differently. This is where we live out our commitment that every child can thrive when given the proper support.

Preschool and Extended Care

Our state-licensed preschool facility and extended care program serve our youngest learners, providing peace of mind for working families. The 12,000-square-foot center offers a safe, nurturing environment from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

What Parents and Students Say

“Joe has a renewed passion for academics. The atmosphere where a Biblical worldview is being shared has assisted in creating this joy for Joe. Wayne Christian is a true blessing to our son!”
– Maria, parent of a current student.

“I am truly blessed to say that I have learned so much throughout my time at WCS. The two most important things that I’ve been taught have been how to stand strong in my faith and the value of true friendship.”
