The Office of Curriculum and Advisement strives to support students as they develop their full potential in Christ. The advisement office provides a range of resources for students as they navigate high school and prepare for the future.

Welcome to high school! Your freshman year is exciting and important in many ways. If you haven’t already, now is the time to develop good study skills that will carry you through high school and college. Your teachers and the advisement office are here to help you as you begin thinking about your future after high school. Don’t be afraid to reach out!

Sophomore +

Your sophomore year is an exciting one! You’re no longer the “newbie” in the high school, and most students have settled into the routine and challenge of their coursework.

We encourage you to refer back to your graduation plan as you are earning important credits toward your graduation. Don’t forget that you need to be completing CASP hours also throughout this school year.

Junior +

Your Junior year may include more challenging coursework as you are approaching graduation. Now is the time to start researching future opportunities, including college majors, possible career fields, and any universities that interest you. This is also the year when you will take the ACT and SAT for college admittance purposes. Stay the course and remain committed to good study skills – your hard work will pay off!

You’ve almost made it! Your senior year will be full of “lasts” as you complete your graduation requirements, experience campus life, finish senior projects, and make memories with your classmates. Stay the course, and remember that we’re here to help!

Current students or alumni needing an official transcript sent to a college must fill out a transcript request form and allow up to two weeks for the transcript to be sent. Complete the attached for and return to hburt@waynechristian.org.
