Once you’re ready to proceed, please complete the application and gather the necessary documents. We understand that paperwork can be overwhelming, so our admissions team is here to help answer any questions you may have along the way.
Your application packet includes:

• Copies of report cards from the last two years (or transcript for
• 8th grade and above)
• All educational and diagnostic testing results
• Standardized test scores
• Pastoral recommendation
• Teacher recommendation
• Copy of birth certificate
• $50 application fee

After we receive your complete application, we’ll schedule placement testing for students in grades 1-12. This 90-minute assessment helps us understand your child’s current academic level in reading, writing, and math. It’s not about passing or failing, it’s about ensuring we can meet your child where they are and help them grow.

Following the placement test, our admissions committee will review your application. If we move forward, we’ll schedule an interview with you and your child to meet with one of our administrators. This is your opportunity to ask questions, learn more about how we can support your child, and explore whether WCS is the right fit for your family’s values and goals.

We carefully review every application to serve as many families as possible. You’ll receive a written decision about acceptance, placement on our waiting list, or next steps. We understand this waiting period can be filled with anticipation, and we’re committed to communicating clearly throughout the process.

Welcome to the WCS family! Upon acceptance, you’ll receive an enrollment packet to complete within two weeks. A non-refundable $500 enrollment fee secures your child’s seat for the upcoming school year.

After applying for the NC Opportunity Scholarship, families may also be eligible for additional tuition assistance through Wayne Christian School. We partner with FACTS Grant & Aid to review applications based on income, assets, family circumstances, and financial obligations. Our goal is straightforward: let’s work together to make this happen.
